Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe international Airport to Jinja After an early morning breakfast, here we shall take a drive to the Eastern part of the country through the grate Bamasaba land (Mbale town) as we proceed with a drive to Sipi Falls just lying on the edges of Mt Elgon for the three falls and also have a picnic at the caves as you take photos for the remarkable visit to the falls and also do the coffee walk; here you will be able to note on how the traditional coffee is processed after retire for the day break with dinner and overnight at Twilight Campsite. Day 3: Transfer to Moroto Wakeup early morning for breakfast after check out of the hotel for a drive to Pian upe game reserve, on your way to Moroto ;here you will spend some splendid time as you view on some of the wild life species and birds. The road from Soroti to Moroto has some beautiful spots for bird watching and you may be able to spot the orange fox’s weaver bird, Karamoja Apalis and other notable species. Later retire for the day break with dinner and overnight Kara Tunga Safari Camp. Day 4: Boda Boda Tour to Karamoja Community You will have an interaction with the village elders such as Kadepo and Karenna as they give you a real interesting traditional experience after retire for the day break with dinner and overnight at kara tounga safari camp. Wakeup early morning for breakfast and later drive out into the vast wilderness of Kidepo National Park, here you will be able to catch with some of the big five family members such as lions waiting for early morning risers depending on the day; you can take photos for a remarkable great experience in the hidden treasure of Uganda after go back to the lodge for lunch and relax. Dinner and overnight at UWA Bandas. Day 6: Morning game drive and nature walk Wakeup early morning for breakfast and later drive out in to the vast wilderness of Kidepo national park, here we shall be able to catch with some of the big animals such as elephants, giraffes, lions baffaloes anelops and nothers waiting for early morning risers depending on the day you can take photos for a remarkable great experience in the hidden treasure of Uganda after go back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch as you are waiting for the afternoon nature walk. dinner and overnight at UWA Bandas. Day 7: Transfer to Murchison falls National Park Have morning breakfast and drive out of kidepo national park to Murchison falls np. you will reach in the evening. dinner and overnight at Heritage safari lodge. Day 8: Morning game drive and Afternoon boat cruise Day 9: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park After your early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to queen Elizabeth national park, enroute visit Amaberengayinamwiru caves in fort portal. These caves are hidden away in the Toro Kingdom found in Western Uganda. A local guide will take you down a thick jungle path – boots are a good idea since the path can be quite slippery and wet. This short, at times difficult walk in the jungle that leads you to a place where you are greeted by a waterfall that is simply lovely and that tumbles down from the cliff above the caves. As you enter the caves it is a good idea to have a flashlight in hand so that you can see. There is not enough light and sunshine coming in and your guide will assist you in every way possible. He will also tell you about the caves both facts and local Legend. The word cave may be a bit exaggerated since most of what you will see is a giant overhang which might be a better definition. Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru means “the breasts of Nyina Mwiru – and the name in the local tradition and the Toro folklore has it that the caves acquired the name after King Bukuku of Toro chopped off the breasts of his daughter Nyina Mwiru and had them thrown inside these caves, following a prophecy that the daughter would one day get married and have a son, Ndahura, who would kill the king and take over his throne. According to local legend, the prophecy came true. In reality – the scientific explanation is that the so-called breasts are in reality stalactites and are made up of calcium carbonate when blended with water drip down and form the stalactites that you will find here. later proceed to the park with dinner and overnight at Tembo safari lodge. wake you at 6:00am in the morning, enjoy breakfast and go for chimpanzee tracking in karinju forest. There are six different Species of Primates found in Kalinzu Forest Reserve including the Blue Monkeys, Vervet Monkeys, Black and White Colobus Monkeys, and Chimpanzees. There are over 220 Chimpanzees, 70 plus chimpanzees have been habituated can be tracked here at Kalinzu Forest Reserve. That is not all, 262 Butterflies, 97 Moths, Reptiles and Flowers can all be seen here. You can hike up the Kishunja Hill Viewpoint, one can behold the entire Forest Canopy, great parts of the Queen Elizabeth National Park and some Peaks of the Rwenzori Mountains. this will take you between 3-5 hrs. to seen these apes and later return to your lodge for lunch as you prepare to go for evening game drive. in this game drive, expect to see most of the big animals like elephants, baffaloes, hipos, lions and many more. dinner and overnight at Tembo safari lodge. Day 11: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Day 12: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi After morning breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing before you set off at 9:00 am through the tracks to search for the humble giants. You will go with packed lunch because it’s hard to determine how long it will take you to meet these great apes. However, the time ranges between 2-9 hours depending on the movements of the giant primates. The activity is tiresome; it involves walking along steep hilly tracks however encountering these great relatives of man erases all the poor memories/ hardships you went through in trying to find them. They are awe-inspiring! you will come back to information center after tracking for graduation ceremony where you will be a warded your gorilla trekking certificates. After getting your gorilla trekking certificates, drive to lake Bunyonyi which is the 2nd deepest lake in Africa. dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi safari lodge. Day 13: Visit Different Islands by Boat On this day after your breakfast, you will take a boat to some of these islands which includes the common one called punishment island. this was called so because all the young girls who would get pregnant before marriage were take there and starve to death. dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi safari lodge. Day 14: Transfer to Entebbe international Airport On this day, your guide will transfer you to Entebbe international airport for your flights back home.
Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will be met and received by our professional guide after you will be transferred to Jinja with a brief stopover at Sezibwa Falls and Mabira forest as you see the beauty of nature that Uganda has to offer after proceed to Jinja; one of the second largest city in Uganda, here you will see the world’s longest river 'River Nile' and take the boat cruise to visit the source of the Nile. Dinner and at Hotel triangle.
Day 2: Transfer to Sipi falls for a nature walk and Hiking
After an early morning cup of coffee, you will be riding on boda bodas to the areas around Karamoja for the community visits, here you will be able to notice and see the ways of living of some of the different ethnic groups within Karamoja such as Jie, Ike, Dodoth and the Tepeth with the great Karamojong tribe, you will also be able to understand their economic ways of life since some of them live a nomadic life and others practice agriculture.
Day 5: Transfer to Kidepo National Park
After an early breakfast you will go for a 3-4 hr game drive. Expect to see animals including Giraffes, Lions, Jackson hartebeest, buffaloes, Uganda Kob, Elephants and a lot of birds in the savannah. You will then go back for lunch and thereafter go for a boat cruise to the bottom of the Murchison Falls and then hike to the top of the falls where you shall be met by your guide to bring you back to your accommodation. dinner and overnight at Heritage safari lodge.
Day 10: Chimpanzee Tracking and Evening game drive
Have morning breakfast and transfer to bwindi national park via ishasha sector to see tree climbing lions. Later proceed to bwindi national park/ buhoma sector. dinner overnight at bwindi view lodge.
